Mike and Jen Oates are the heart behind Finding Home, a global ministry dedicated to guiding believers on a transformative journey of healing and discipleship. Their mission is to help people discover their unique God-given identity, and to learn what it means to live life from a place of wholeness and freedom. Finding Home helps people break free from the burden and confusion of past hurts, broken relationships, and destructive patterns, leading them into a deeper understanding of who they are in Christ and the unfailing love of their Heavenly Father.

Mike, originally from Scotland, found his passion for ministry through years spent serving with YWAM, where he led mission trips worldwide and witnessed countless lives transformed by the gospel. After enduring the personal pain of a broken marriage, Mike experienced God’s healing and redemption in a profound way, fuelling his passion to help others walk through their own journeys of healing and renewal.

Jen, hailing from the beautiful beaches of Australia, found her personal relationship with God after walking through heartache on a path littered with religion and sin. Through God’s redeeming love, she found freedom from her past and embraced her true identity as His child. Over the past 16 years, Jen has served with Ellel Ministries all over the world, teaching and leading others on their own healing and discipleship journeys.

When God brought Mike & Jen together they quickly discovered a shared passion and vision to brightly shine the light of Christ into the lives of those around them. During their honeymoon God downloaded a blueprint of what Finding Home would look like – and their vision to see people experience the safety, love, and redemption of God started to become a reality.

Through Finding Home, Mike & Jen offer courses like 'Safe Haven: Healing from Damaging Relationships', and spiritual prayer & coaching to help others find the same understanding, freedom and life-changing hope that they have found. They believe that no wound is too deep for God to heal, and they are committed to walking alongside as they find their way home to the Father’s loving embrace.

Their message is one of hope, restoration, and the life-changing power of God’s love. Through teaching, prayer, and the prophetic voice of God, Mike and Jen are committed to helping believers step into the fullness of who they are in Christ, discover their purpose, and find their true home in the embrace of their loving Father.​
