At Finding Home, we are committed to helping people encounter the healing, freedom, and transforming love of Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are rooted in historic Christian faith and informed by a Spirit-led, charismatic understanding of Scripture.

1. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things.

2. The Authority of Scripture

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return again in glory.

4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that all people are separated from God by sin and are reconciled to Him solely through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of God's grace and cannot be earned through human effort or works.

5. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering them to live a Christ-centred life, grow in spiritual maturity, and participate in God's mission. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit remain active today for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God's Kingdom.

6. Identity, Adoption and Transformation

We believe that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent dignity and value. Through faith in Christ, believers are adopted into God's family as sons and daughters and are invited into a lifelong journey of healing, transformation, and spiritual growth.

7. Healing, Freedom and Restoration

We believe that Jesus came to bring abundant life and that His redemptive work extends to every area of human brokenness. Through the truth of God's Word, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, prayer, discipleship, and Christian community, people can experience healing, freedom, restoration, and renewed purpose.

8. Spiritual Warfare and Christ's Victory

We believe in the reality of spiritual warfare and the existence of personal evil. We also believe that through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ has triumphed over the powers of darkness and given believers authority to stand firm in His victory.

9. The Church

We believe the ecclesia is the body of Christ and God's primary instrument for worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and mission. We encourage believers to actively participate in healthy Christian community and remain connected to a local church wherever possible.

10. The Priesthood of All Believers

We believe that every follower of Jesus is called to know God personally, serve others, and participate in the work of ministry according to the gifts and calling God has given them.

11. The Return of Christ and Eternal Hope

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the return of Jesus Christ, the final judgement and the eternal reign of God. We believe that those who place their faith in Christ have the assurance of eternal life with Him.

We seek to create safe places where people can encounter His truth, experience His love, and grow into the fullness of who He created them to be.
